ROYAL BUTTERFLY is created by a French Iris I photographed. The design was created by making fractals of the Iris petals. The inspiration behind my fractal designs comes from a children's book about shapes. At that moment, I thought; "How can I make fractals part of my photography?" Almost by accident, I made it happen.
